چکیده

An utmost attempt was made to investigate the response of Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla L.) certain types and doses organic manures at under open condition temperate regions Uttarakhand during year 2019-2020. The study comprised varying levels three different manure sources namely, FYM, compost vermicompost, along with a check treatment replicating thrice having plot dimensions 1 m× m spacing 20 cm × cm. experiment laid out in randomized complete block design (RCBD). Forty-five (45) days old chamomile seedlings (attained about 10-15 height) were transplanted October, 2019 field condition. soils experimental site tested favourable respect some basic physical chemical properties. results revealed that maximum plant height (48.26 cm), number branches per (35.40) spread (33.09 cm) significantly higher T4 (FYM @ 25 t/ha) application 180 after transplanting. Application T10 (VC 4 produced early flowering (119.73 days). At bud initiation stage highest total fresh (33.12 q/ha) dry (7.59 biomass yield found t/ha). value (60.02 (12.70 results, further provided fastest crop growth rate (0.86 g/m2/day). flowers (139.73), flower (67.35 q/ha), (13.95 cost: benefit (1:3.56) obtained plots which received FYM t/ha. All input treatments performed better over control t/ha shall be recommended for profitable cultivation chamomile.
